The scenario
KERMESSE. L'école Pitchounet organise sa fête de fin d'année ! Nous recherchons des parents volontaires pour : participer à l'organisation, animer les jeux, tenir les stands. L'argent récolté servira aux prochaines sorties de l'école. Contact : www.ecole-pitchounet.ca
What to practice
This is a Task 2 scenario: you need to convince the other person using the informal tu register. Open by stating what you want them to do, give two or three concrete reasons, and be ready to respond when they push back. The skill being tested is persuasion under time pressure — staying natural, warm, and spontaneous while building a clear argument.
Objections to handle
In the live task the other person will resist. Practise responding naturally to prompts like these — acknowledge, then counter with a reason.

Ce sera fatigant d'animer un stand toute une journée.
Je risque de m'ennuyer.
On ne me laissera probablement pas choisir le stand que j'animerai.
Il faudra être présent à toutes les réunions de préparation.
Je ne pourrai pas profiter des autres animations avec mon enfant.
Les enfants risquent d'être surexcités.
Je suis timide, j'aurai du mal à animer un stand.
On me demandera ensuite de le faire chaque année.
